STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Here is a look at the Wagner Athletics events for this week.
Baseball
- Back at home after eight consecutive road games, Wagner hosts Norfolk State for a weekend NEC series beginning Friday, April 10, forgoing a midweek game.
- First pitch for game one is scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday's games are scheduled for 1 p.m. start times.
Men's Lacrosse
- The Seahawks welcome the Le Moyne Dolphins on Saturday, April 11 for a 2 p.m. start on Hameline Field.
Men's Tennis
- The Seahawks will play the last two matches of the regular season this weekend. Starting on Saturday, April 11, they will pay a visit to West Point and take on Army at the Malek Tennis Center. First serve is set for 4 p.m.
- Then, they will finish the regular season with a trip to LIU on Sunday, April 12. The match will be played at the LIU Tennis Center at 1 p.m.
Men's Track & Field
- A week after finishing third at the Colonial Relays, Wagner will split time, heading to Lewisburg, Pennsylvania to compete in the Bison Outdoor Classic beginning Saturday, April 11. Hosted by Bucknell at Christy Matthewson-Memorial Stadium, the two-day meet will conclude Sunday, April 12.
-The team will also head to Piscataway, New Jersey for the Rutgers Relays on Saturday, April 11, a one-day meet held at the Bauer Track & Field Complex.
Softball
- Wagner softball will continue their playoff push with two road NEC series this week. Starting on Tuesday, April 7, the Seahawks will take on conference-leading LIU in Brooklyn. They will begin with a doubleheader at 1 p.m., with game two starting at approximately 3 p.m. The series will end on Wednesday, April 8 with a single game at 12 p.m.
- Then, the Seahawks will travel to Syracuse to take on Le Moyne at their softball field for another three-game set. The series will start on Saturday, April 11 with two games starting at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., then will wrap up with a game on Sunday, April 12 at 12 p.m.
Women's Golf
- The Seahawks will be on the road competing at the St. John's Women's Invitational on Monday, April 6th and Tuesday April 7th, at Saint Andrew's Golf Club in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.
- Wagner will travel again on Sunday, April 12th to the Women's Golf Tri-Match vs St Joe's and La Salle in Lafayette Hill, PA.
Women's Lacrosse
- Wagner hosts Stonehill on Wednesday, April 8 for its annual 'Every Child Matters' game. The Seahawks and the Skyhawks are set to begin at 3 p.m. on Hameline Field.
- On Saturday, April 11, the Green & White welcome CCSU for an 11 a.m. start on Grymes Hill. Wagner will host their 'Senior Day' ceremony for five student-athletes approximately half an hour prior to the 11 a.m. opening draw control.
Women's Tennis
- The Seahawks will play the last regular season match against Mount St. Mary's at their tennis courts in Emmitsburg, MD. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
Women's Track & Field
- The Seahawks split time this week, heading to Bucknell's Bison Outdoor Classic, beginning Saturday, April 11 at Christy Matthewson-Memorial Stadium. The two-day meet wraps up on Sunday, April 12.
-Wagner also competes in the Rutgers Relays on Saturday, April 11, a one-day meet at the Bauer Track & Field Complex.
Women's Water Polo
- Wagner will turn its focus to postseason play at the MAAC Championships, set for April 11–12 at McCann Natatorium in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., with the semifinal happening on Saturday against No. 2 seed Villanova, followed by the championship game on Sunday.
