This Week in Wagner Athletics; Eight Teams in Action as Women’s Water Polo Competes in Third Consecutive NCAA Tournament

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Here is a look at the Wagner Athletics events for this week. 
 

Baseball 

- The Seahawks will play a pair of midweek games on the road, heading to Easton, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, April 21 for a 3 p.m. game at Lafayette, then heading to Princeton on Wednesday, April 22 for another 3 p.m. game.

- From there, Wagner hits the road for a weekend NEC series at UMES, looking to win a third consecutive conference series. 

 

Men's Lacrosse 

- Wagner hosts RMU on Saturday, April 25 for its annual 'Senior Day' game.

- Start time between the Seahawks and Colonial is set for noon, with the Senior Day ceremony approximately 45 minutes before start time. 

 

Men's Golf

- The Green & White take part in the 2026 NEC Championships from Friday, April 24 to Sunday, April 26. 

- The Seahawks are set to compete in Ellicott City, Maryland at the Turf Valley Resort.

 

Men's Track & Field

- Wagner heads to the Penn Relays for three days after a pair of two-meet weekends, opening competition at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and wrapping up on Saturday, April 25.

 

Softball 

- The Seahawks return home after their bye-week to take on FDU for a three-game series. It will start with a doubleheader on Saturday, April 25, with the games starting at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. 

- The series will end on Sunday April, 26 with first pitch at 12 p.m.

 

Women's Lacrosse  

- Wagner travels to FDU for a noon start on Saturday, April 25. 

- The winner of the Seahawks and the Knights matchup will earn the fourth-seed in the NEC Tournament. 

 

Women's Track & Field

- The Seahawks are competing in the Penn Relays this weekend, beginning Thursday, April 23 at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and concluding on Saturday, April 25.

 

Women's Water Polo  

- Wagner competes in the NCAA Championship's Opening Round for the third consecutive season against Concordia University Irvine at the Canyonview Aquatic Center in La Jolla, California. 

- The Seahawks contest against the Golden Eagles is set for 9 p.m. EDT.
