BRIDGEWATER, N.J. — The men's tennis team earned the fifth spot in the NEC preseason poll, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Last season, the Seahawks landed in the seventh spot in the seven-team preseason poll, and entered the NEC tournament as the lowest seed. They went on to upset second-seeded Le Moyne in the first round 4-3, before falling 4-1 in the semifinals to LIU.
This season, Wagner returns two of its four 2025 All-NEC recipients. Graduate student
Gabriele Zugarelli earned a spot on the All-NEC doubles second team, while sophomore
Eddie Schmidt earned an All-NEC Rookie team nod.
