Staten Island, NY - Here is a look at the Wagner Athletics events for this week.
Baseball
- The Seahawks open their week with a Wednesday trip on April 30 to face Penn for a 3 pm first pitch.
- From there, Wagner hosts conference-leading CCSU in Trenton, New Jersey for a Northeast Conference series. Game one will be Friday, May 2 at 3 pm.
- Sophomore Diego Tavarez enters the week having won his fourth NEC Prime Performer nod of the season after batting .500 through three games last week.
Men's Track & Field
- Wagner heads to Easton, Massachusetts for the NEC Outdoor Championships this weekend looking to earn a championship. Hosted by Stonehill, the meet begins Saturday, May 3 and wraps up Sunday, May 4.
- The men's team rounded out their regular season at the Penn Relays over the weekend.
Women's Lacrosse
- The second-seeded Wagner Seahawks will take on the third-seeded LIU Sharks in the semi-final round of the 2025 Northeast Conference (NEC) Tournament on Thursday, May 1 at 1:00 pm at Stonehill College.
- Most recently, senior Katie Siverson was named the conference's Player of the Week after scoring five goals, causing three turnovers, and collecting one ground ball in an overtime win against Mercyhurst.

Women's Track & Field
- After a strong showing at the Penn Relays to round out the regular season, Wagner is heading to Easton, Massachusetts for the NEC Outdoor Championships.
- The women's side is coming off its first NEC Indoor Championship and are looking to repeat that performance this weekend.
