PHILADELPHIA, PA — Wagner men's tennis completed their fall schedule on Friday with a 5-0 win against Coppin State. The match took place on the campus of Thomas Jefferson University.
The Seahawks won all five singles matches against the Eagles, and they were all in straight sets. Sophomore Eddie Schmit started the match with a 6-4, 6-3 win against freshman Andre Dogbefu, while graduate student
Tom Lamers and sophomore
Joshua Zhao each only dropped two games total in their matches.
In the lone doubles match of the day, Schmidt and redshirt freshman
Lukas Escher came out on top 6-2 over Dogbefu and senior Liam Murtaugh. The doubles match did not count towards the final score.
