MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Wagner football continues NEC play on Saturday, November 8, traveling to Robert Morris for a 12:00 p.m. kickoff. The matchup will stream live on ESPN+ with Chris Shovlin and Ray Thomas on the call.
Saturday's meeting marks the 28th all-time contest between the programs, with Robert Morris holding a 16–11 advantage. The Seahawks have won three of the last five matchups against the Colonials.
Robert Morris (3–6, 2–3 NEC) was picked to finish tied for fourth in the NEC Preseason Poll and enters the weekend seeking its third straight win. The Colonials have earned consecutive victories over Stonehill (20–17) and Saint Francis (24–14), and currently rank second in the NEC in total defense, allowing just 174.1 yards per game.

Nicholas Romero drilled the game-winning 28-yard field goal as time expired to lift the Seahawks to their second straight conference win.
The Green & White capitalized on four Red Flash turnovers, including three fumble recoveries and a 25-yard interception return for a touchdown by sophomore

Akil Lampley led the defense with 12 tackles, a forced fumble, and a tackle for loss, while senior
Sam Martin added nine tackles and a sack. Senior
Jordan Johnson recovered two fumbles as Wagner extended its NEC lead in forced fumbles to 10 on the season.
Offensively, sophomore quarterback
Jack Stevens completed 12-of-15 passes for 66 yards, connecting with seven different receivers. Sophomore running back
Matt Morad led the offense with 45 rushing yards and four receptions, while junior Myles Hines added 23 yards and a touchdown. Redshirt senior
Malik Cooper sparked the game-winning drive with a 19-yard run, and Romero finished a perfect 3-for-3 on field goals (37, 44, 28) and 2-for-2 on PATs.
With a win this weekend, the Seahawks would record their first three-game win streak since 2013.
Romero was named both the NEC Rookie of the Week and Special Teams Player of the Week following his performance, in addition to earning Stats Perform FCS Freshman of the Week honors.
Following Saturday's contest, Wagner will return home to close out the regular season, hosting Stonehill on Saturday, November 15 at 12:00 p.m. for Senior Day on Hameline Field.
