STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Here is a look at the Wagner Athletics events for this week.
Field Hockey
- Wagner concludes its 2025 regular season on Friday, October 31 as the Seahawks welcome NEC opponent Rider for a 3:00 p.m. start at the Field Hockey Complex.
Football
- After four straight games at home, Wagner will head to Loretto, PA to face Saint Francis on Saturday, November 1 at 12:00 p.m.
- Last week, the Seahawks took down RV Duquesne 24-13. Senior Sam Martin and graduate student Andre Hines Jr. were named NEC Prime Performers for their efforts.
- The Seahawks were named Stats Perform FCS National Team of the Week Honorable Mention following the win.
Men's Cross Country
- Wagner's travels to Tyrone, Pennsylvania and B & D Acre Farms for the NEC Championship on Saturday, November 1, hosted by Saint Francis U.
- It will be a group of new faces running for the Seahawks, who return their 2024 All-NEC performer, graduate Justin Morris.
- Sophomore Florian Hinry rounded out the regular season with his first NEC Athlete of the Week nod after his performance at the IC4A/ECAC Championship.
Men's Fencing
- The Seahawks will travel to Madison, NJ and compete in the Drew Invitational at the Simon Forum on November 2.
Men's Golf
- Wagner is taking part at the Metropolitan Intercollegiate Championship in West Orange, NJ.
- The Seahawks will be playing Monday, October 27 and Tuesday, October 28. This is the last match of the fall for the Green & White.
Men's Swimming & Diving
- The Seahawks will travel to New Haven, CT to take on Southern Connecticut State on Friday, October 31, at 5:00 p.m..
Men's Water Polo
-The Seahawks are set to travel to Emmitsburg, MD for a game against the MAWPC opponent Mount St. Mary's (MD) for a contest at the ARCC Swimming Pool on Friday, October 31 at 6:00 p.m.
-Wagner is on the road in Annapolis, MD. to compete against Navy in Lejeune Hall on Saturday, November 1 at 6:00 p.m.
- The Green & White competes against George Washington in Springfield, VA on Sunday, November 2 in The St. James Natatorium. The opening ball-drop is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
Women's Cross Country
- Wagner travels to Tyone, Pennsylvania for the NEC Championship on Saturday, November 1, hosted by Saint Francis U at B&D Acre Farms.
- The Seahawks placed third at last season's championship and return two All-NEC runners from that 2024 squad.
- Ferretti is fresh off her third NEC Athlete of the Week performance for her performance at the IC4A/ECAC Championship.
Women's Fencing
- The Seahawks travel to Madison, NJ and compete in the Drew Invitational at the Simon Forum on November 2.
Women's Soccer
- The Seahawks are back in action on Thursday, October 30, traveling to face conference newcomer New Haven at 6:00 p.m. in West Haven, Conn.
- With two matches remaining in the regular season, Wagner sits tied for second in the NEC with Howard ahead of the four-team NEC Tournament.
- Sophomore Abigail Marcello was named an NEC Prime Performer as she allowed just one goal and saved eight shots in two games.
Women's Swimming & Diving
- The Seahawks head to New Haven to take on Southern Connecticut State and CCSU on October 31, at 5:00 p.m.
