STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Wagner College football team continues NEC play on Saturday, October 25, hosting RV Duquesne at Hameline Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. and the game will stream live on ESPN+, YES Network, and SportsNet Pittsburgh with Paul Dottino and Kevin Gilbride on the call.
Saturday's contest marks the 21st all-time meeting between the Seahawks and the Dukes, with Duquesne holding a 15–5 series advantage and winning the last 10 matchups.
RV Duquesne (5–3, 3–0 NEC) enters the weekend on a four-game win streak. The Dukes opened their season with a loss at Pitt before defeating Lincoln, then falling to Lehigh and Akron. Since then, Duquesne has rattled off four straight victories against New Haven, Stonehill, Saint Francis U, and Mercyhurst. Wide receiver Joey Isabella leads the NEC with 43 receptions, averaging 74.6 yards per game and nine touchdowns. As a team, the Dukes pace the conference in scoring at 32.4 points per game. Duquesne was picked to finish second in the NEC Preseason Coaches Poll after finishing as the conference runner-up to CCSU last season.
Wagner (1–6, 0–2 NEC) is coming off a 24–17 overtime loss to defending NEC champion CCSU on October 18. The Seahawks finished with 246 yards of total offense compared to the Blue Devils' 378. Senior quarterback
