BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Sophomore
Filip Petrovic was named the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
The Seattle, WA native earned the recognition after anchoring the Seahawks' defense with fifteen saves and three steals in a matchup against Brown University.
Petrovic has continued to emerge as one of the conference's top young goalkeepers, serving as a cornerstone for Wagner's defensive unit.
The Seahawks will be competing next against Mount St. Mary's in Emmitsburg, Md. at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 31.
