Staten Island, NY - Here is a look at the Wagner Athletics events for this week.
Field Hockey
- Wagner will compete in two road games, one conference and one non-conference, as the Seahawks continue their playoff push.
- The Green & White travel to Fairfield for a bout with the Stags at 3:00 pm on Friday, October 4. Two days later, Wagner heads to Temple for a noon opening pass-back against the Owls.
- The Seahawks are winners of four straight, outscoring opponents 14-0 during the span.
Football
- The Seahawks will continue NEC play at Stonehill on Saturday at 1:00 pm
- Senior Joshua Brown was named NEC Special Teams Player of the Week, while sophomore Zachary Ricci earned NEC Prime Performer honors following last Saturday's game at FAU.

Men's Cross Country
- Wagner will make the trip to Bethlehem, PA for the Paul Short Run on Saturday.
- Last time out, the Seahawks placed five runners in the top 30 at the Ted Owens Invite including Keegan Baluja earning rookie of the week.
Men's Tennis
- In their first home match of the season, the Seahawks will take on Holy Cross in a dual match at Flushing Meadows Park in Queens.
- Freshman, Eddie Schmidt stood out for the Green and White at the Fordham Fall Invitational, going undefeated in two doubles matches and one singles match.
Men's Water Polo
- Wagner will travel to California for six contests this weekend. The Seahawks will play Whittier Biola on Thursday at the Whittier Invite.
- On Friday, the Green & White will face off against Concordia University Irvine and California Baptist University and on Saturday against Long Beach State and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges at the Gary Troyer Tournament.
- Last weekend, the Seahawks hosted two games at the Spiro Sports Center, picking up a win against MAWPC opponent, Navy.
Women's Cross Country
- Wagner will make the trip to Bethlehem, PA for the Paul Short Run on Saturday.
- Last time out the Seahawks placed five runners in the top 50 at the Ted Owens Invite.
Women's Soccer
- On Thursday, the Seahawks will head to Chicago, IL for a NEC matchup against newcomer Chicago State.
- Last time out, the Green & White fell to FDU, 3-2, with freshman Anayah RIvera scoring a career-high two goals.
Women's Tennis
- In their first home match of the season, the Seahawks will take on Holy Cross in a dual match at Flushing Meadows Park in Queens.
- Freshman Liepa Sataite won her first match of the season playing out of the first spot in the lineup for Wagner.
