Staten Island, NY - Here is a look at the Wagner Athletics events for this week.
Men's Basketball
- The Seahawks will travel to FDU on Thursday night, with tip-off set for 7:00 pm.
- Wagner went 1-1 last week, including a 80-67 victory over Le Moyne at the Spiro Sports Center.
- Junior
Melvin Council Jr. earned NEC Prime Performer honors once again after averaging 20 points per game.

Women's Basketball
- The Seahawks will travel to FDU on Friday night, with tip-off set for 7:00 pm on ESPNU.
- Wagner went 1-1 last week, including a 63-55 wire-to-wire win over Stonehill at the Spiro Sports Center on Saturday.
- Freshman Shamqiue Cummings led the way for Wagner with a career-high 13 points and a career-high seven rebounds.

Women's Water Polo
- Wagner will travel to Lewisburg, PA for the Bison Invitational from Saturday, February 10 to Sunday, February 11 at Kinney Natatorium, hosted by Bucknell.
- Last time out, the Seahawks went undefeated at the Bruno Classic, earning victories over #18 Harvard and #25 Pomona-Pitzer.
- The Green & White participated in the Bison Invitational two season ago, where the Seahawks went won all four games during the two-day tournament, including a 15-3 over #25 Bucknell.
Swimming & Diving
- The Seahawks will wrap up their regular season slate at Fordham on Wednesday, February 7, before heading to Geneva, OH for the start of the NEC Championships in late February.
- This past weekend the swimming & diving program honored its seniors after a dominating home meet against LIU. The team continued its winning ways the following afternoon with another impressive display at LIU. The Green & White completed their home-and-home series with the Sharks with four wins, winning by an average mark of 62.75 points.
Track & Field
- Wagner will compete at the Fast Track Invite on Friday, February 9 at the Armory in New York, NY
- Last time out, the men's team placed fourth at the METS scoring 69 team points, meanwhile, the women's team placed thirteen scoring 10.5 team points
- For the Green & White, this is the last meet before the Northeast Conference (NEC) Championships that will be held Sunday, February 18 to Monday, February 19.
Women's Tennis
- The Seahawks will host Providence College on Friday, February 9 at the CSI Tennis Courts on Staten Island before hosting Le Moyne on Sunday, February 11.
- Last time out, the Seahawks fell to Seton Hall on Saturday, February 3 (6-1) with junior
Paula Ysabelle Uy earning Wagner's lone singles win against the Pirates with a score of 6-2, 6-2. On Sunday, February 4 the Seahawks fell to Columbia with a score of 4-0.
Men's Tennis
- The Seahawks will host Le Moyne in the first conference series on Sunday, February 11 at the CSI Tennis Courts on Staten Island.
- Last time out, Wagner completed the Fordham Invitational where sophomore
Kunsh Moolchandani and junior
Jordan Hunte defeated Yi-Shen Wee and Stefan Stojanovic (8-7 (7)). Freshmen
David Krasner and
Naseem Rahman also earned victories in the invitational.
