This Week In Wagner Athletics; Three Teams In Action As Women’s Basketball Hosts NJIT On Thursday

Staten Island, NY -  Here is a look at the Wagner Athletics events for this week. 

Men's Basketball 

- Wagner will travel to NJIT for a matchup with the Highlanders on Saturday, December 14. Tip-off is set for 4:00 pm.

- Most recently, the Seahawks defeated Coppin State and Maryland Eastern Shore to improve their record to 5-4 on the young season.

- For their efforts last week, graduate student Ja'Kair Sanchez and junior R.J. Greene were tabbed NEC Prime Performers by the conference on Monday.

Track & Field 

-The men's and women's track & field teams will host the Seahawk Shootout at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Friday, December 13.

-Last week, the Green & White opened their season at the Fast Track Season Opener where seven Seahawks garnered first place finishes.

 

Women's Basketball 

- The Seahawks will welcome NJIT to the Spiro Sports Center on Thursday, December 12 with tip-off set for 7:00 PM before traveling to Rutgers on Sunday for a 2:00 tip-off.

- Most recently, the Seahawks dropped a non-conference matchup against Lafayette. Graduate student Julia Fabozzi was named a NEC Prime Performer after scoring 16 points and grabbing a career-high 13 boards.
