Donald Copeland has announced the signing of
Seck Zongo.
Zongo, a 6-7 forward from the Bronx, joins fellow newcomers
Di'Andre Howell-South,
Tahron Allen,
Zae Blake,
Churchill Bounds,
Melvin Council Jr. and
Tyje Kelton for the 2023-24 season.
"We're thrilled to add Seck to our basketball family," Copeland commented. "Our newcomers have looked great throughout the summer and during our foreign tour and we believe that Seck will fit right in as a player and as a person. With our first official practice just a few weeks away, we can't wait to get on the court and chase our goals."
One of the most highly touted recruits in the New York City area, Zongo will be the lone freshman on the 2023-24 roster for the Seahawks.
A former standout at The Patrick School, Zongo also played AAU basketball for Team Diffrnt.
Wagner will open its 2023-24 season at Fordham on November 6.
