Staten Island, NY - Here is a look at the Wagner Athletics events for this week.
Women's Lacrosse
- Wagner will wrap up the regular season on Saturday, April 29 when they travel to Loretto, PA to take on Saint Francis U at 12:00 pm.
- The winner of the contest will receive the #2 seed in the upcoming NEC Tournament.
- Wagner earned a 20-5 victory over Howard at Hameline Field on Saturday, April 22.
- Senior Megan Greco led the offensive attack for Wagner with four goals against Howard.
Baseball
- Wagner will start a five-game week against Villanova on Tuesday, April 25.
- The team has a quick turnaround to play Saint Peter's on Wednesday, April 26.
- The Seahawks will continue to play on the road this weekend with a three-game series against Albany. First pitch for game one is scheduled for 6:00 pm on Friday, April 28. The next two games will start at noon on Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30.
- Last weekend the Seahawks swept Sacred Heart on the road thanks to a trio of late-inning rallies. The 3-0 weekend record moved Wagner a game back of second place in the NEC standings. Â
Softball
-Following a Senior Day Sweep over Sacred Heart, the Seahawks conclude the regular season at Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday and Sunday.
-Three Wagner wins over the Knights and three Merrimack losses against Saint Francis U or three CCSU losses against Stonehill will clinch a spot in the NEC Tournament for the Seahawks.Â
-Graduate student Eve Harvey earned three complete game wins in two days against the Pioneers, becoming just the third player in Wagner history to strike out 300 batters.Â
-Senior Bianca Worthy recorded her 100th career hit on Senior Day against Sacred Heart.
-Wagner will look for its first postseason berth since 2017, while the Knights have been eliminated from the postseason.
Women's Water Polo
- The Seahawks will compete in the MAAC Tournament this weekend in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Women's Golf
-The Seahawks will finish their 2022-23 season at the NEC Championships in Daytona Beach, FL. The team is currently in eighth place after day one of three in the tournament.
Track & Field
- The Wagner College men's and women's track & field teams will travel to Philadelphia, PA for the 128th annual Penn Relays, from Thursday, April 27th to Sunday, April 30th.
- At last year's competition, the Seahawks 4x800 relay team set a new school record by crossing the finish line with a time of 7:28.68.
- The Green & White have received the last three Northeast Conference (NEC) men's Rookie of the Week awards, as well as the conference's most recent Track Athlete and Field Athlete of the Week awards.
