This Week in Wagner Athletics; 10 Teams in Action As Conference Play For Spring Sports Continues

Staten Island, NY - Here is a look at the Wagner Athletics events for this week.

Women's Lacrosse
- The Seahawks will welcome LIU at Hameline Field on Wednesday, March 29 at 6:00 pm before hosting FDU on Saturday, April 1 at 12:00 pm.
- The Seahawks will welcome LIU for a battle against preseason #1 and #2 in the preseason NEC poll, both teams are 2-0 in conference play.
- Graduate student Aileen Hannan was named NEC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
- Senior Megan Greco led the Seahawks last week with eight goals in two games as Wagner found the back of the net 30 times in two games.

Men's Lacrosse
- Wagner will travel to Brookville, NY to take on LIU on Wednesday, March 29 at 3:00 pm before traveling to Loundonville, NY to take on Siena on Saturday, April 1 at 3:00 pm.
- On Saturday, March 25, graduate student Jack Brady led the Seahawks with three goals against Mount St. Mary's.

Baseball
- The Seahawks will hit the road for a matchup against Seton Hall in South Orange, NJ on Wednesday, April 29 at 4:00 pm.
- Starting Friday, March 31 at 3:00 pm, the Green & White will return home for a pivotal three-game conference set against first place CCSU.
- This past weekend the Seahawks secured their third NEC series victory against Delaware State. They were led by senior David Melfi who went 8-12 with ten RBIs across the three games.

Softball
- The Seahawks will host Saint Peter's in non-conference action on Wednesday, with first pitch set for 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
- Wagner will take the road this weekend, as the Seahawks travel to Saint Francis U for a three-game series on Saturday and Sunday.
- The Green and White swept Stonehill on Saturday for the first two conference wins of the season.
- Pitcher Eve Harvey made history, moving into the top-5 all-time in wins with a victory in game one over the Skyhawks. 

Women's Water Polo
- The Seahawks will travel to Princeton, NJ to take on Princeton on Thursday, March 30 at 7:00 pm. The contest against Princeton will wrap up non-conference play for the Green & White.
- The Green & White will continue conference play this weekend at VMI on Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2.
- Wagner moved to 5-0 in MAAC play with wins over LIU and La Salle on Saturday, March 25.

Men's Tennis
- Wagner men's tennis will play a trifecta of Northeast Conference (NEC) duals this week.
- First, the Seahawks head to Teaneck, NJ for a 1:00 pm dual with the Knights on Thursday, March 30th. 
- Second, Wagner rolls into Brookville, NY for a match with the Sharks. First serve is set for 2:00 pm on Friday, March 31st.
- Finally, the Green & White will travel to Queens for a dual with the Terriers of St. Francis Brooklyn, Sunday, April 2nd. First serve is set for 1:00 pm.

Women's Tennis
- Wagner women's tennis will travel to two away duals this week.
- First, the Seahawks will roll into Stony Brook for a dual with the Seawolves on Friday, March 31st, first serve is for 2:00 pm.
- Second, the Green & White will play in a Northeast Conference (NEC) match against the Terriers of St. Francis Brooklyn, at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on Sunday, April 2nd. 

Men's Golf
- On Thursday, March 30 the Seahawks will take on Manhattan in a match play event at the Fox Hollow Golf Club in Branchburg, NJ.
- In the team's last event, the Carpetbagger Classic, the Seahawks were led by junior Thomas Choi who won NEC Prime Performer for his performance.

Women's Golf
- Across two days on Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2, the Seahawks will make their spring season debut at the Women's Intercollegiate at Prospect Bay Country Club in Grasonville, MD.
-After finishing the fall with two match play victories, the Green & White will turn to new head coach Rick Perine to lead them in the spring and beyond.

Track & Field
- The Seahawks will take place in the Colonial Relays in Williamsburg, VA on Friday, March 31 and Saturday, April 1.
- Wagner competed in the Monmouth Invite on Sunday, March 26.
