Men's Tennis Falls To Top-Seed Bryant In NEC Quarterfinals

West Windsor, NJ - The Wagner College men's tennis season concluded on Thursday morning as the No. 8 seeded Seahawks fell to the top-seed Bryant, 4-0, at the Mercer County Tennis Center. 

The Green & White finished the year 2-13 and 0-6 in the league while the Bulldogs, who finished the conference season 6-0 and 13-16, will await the winner of the LIU/Sacred Heart contest. 

Wagner put forth a valiant effort at No. 1 doubles as the tandem of Tejasvi Mehra and Omar Loutfy battled Diego Serra Sparrow and Diego Trejo as the Bulldogs picked up a 6-3 win. Nick Lorenz/JeanChristopher Baril defeated Lucas Darling and Karan Venkatramana, 6-2, which gave Bryant the match after No. 2 went unfinished, 5-4, in favor of the Seahawks pairing of Rodrigo Perez and Odeda Arazza

In singles, the Bulldogs earned identical 6-1; 6-0 wins at No. 5 and No. 6 before capturing the match at No. 3 after Teague Burger won by retirement.
