Inside-The-Boxscore...
  • With the win, Wagner moves to 7-3 at home this season.
  • The Seahawks are 3-0 this season playing on Thursday nights.
  • For only the second time this season, four Seahawks netted double-figures, as Wagner moves to 2-0 when that occurs.
  • Krista Grava's 23 points are the third time this season that Lignate, Latvia native has netted 20 points in a contest and has reached 20 or more points for the 14th time in her Seahawk tenure.
    • Additionally, Krista Grava extends her double-figure scoring streak to five games and marks the 58th time in her career that she scored in double-digits.
  • Loceniece matches her conference-career high in scoring, as the 14 ties her mark that she set against Bryant back on January 6.
  • Tokuhara finished with a season-high and marks the 11th in her career that she has reached double-figures.
    • The Lawndale, CA native swiped a season-high four steals in her 31 minutes of action.
  • Sanchez-Henry also matched her season-high with ten points, marking the first time since the season opener at NJIT that the second-year guard has netted double-digits.
    • The Ellicott City, MD native dished out four assists, which ties her season-best, which set at Saint Peter's back on Nov. 17.
  • Of Wagner's 78 points, 37 of those came from their reserves, as the trio of Tokuhara, Loceniece, and Sanchez Henry accounted for 35 of those points.
  • Wagner held a 34-33 edge on the rebounds.
  • The Seahawks turned 21 Blue Devils turnovers into 16 points while converting 11 points off fast-break opportunities.
  • For the third straight game, and fourth in the last five contests, the Seahawks have held their opponents to under 30.0 percent shooting from three-point range, as CCSU was held to just 25.0 percent from long distance (5 of 20) while the Seahawks hit on 57.1 percent from the outside.

  • The visitors kept it close, cutting the deficit to six on three occasions, the last coming off a Jenkins jumper with 3:23 showing on the clock before halftime as the Blue Devils had outscored Wagner, 12-9, over a 4:33 stretch.
  • The Seahawks entered the halftime break with a 37-29, as Zhaneia Thybulle, who scored seven points, was able to find a seam in the Blue Devils defense on her way to the basket for two.

Third Quarter…
  • When play started back up for the second half, it was Central Connecticut that seized the early momentum, embarking on an 8-3 run over the first 2:30 of the frame that found the visitors trailing by just three points, 40-37, as Williams was able to sink a pair from the line.
  • Wagner answered back in a big way, sparking a 14-2 run over the next 3:12, in building a 54-39 lead as Krista Grava and Loceniece combined to score ten of the 14 points as the Seahawks went 5 of 7 from the field during the run.
  • Nina Davy was able to halt the run, briefly, with a three-pointer, but Sanchez-Henry and Tokuhara were able to hit on back-to-back possessions as the Seahawks held a 16-point edge, 58-42, heading into the final quarter.

Fourth Quarter…
  • In the final quarter, Berube got it started for the visitors with a layup, that gave her ten points for the contest.
  • The Seahawks continued to capitalize on the momentum, rattling off eight straight points, six of which coming from a pair of threes from Sanchez-Henry and Cowan, as Wagner increased the lead to 22, 66-44, at the 7:15 mark.
  • Emma Bruen was able to score on the opposite end following a missed jumper by Meghan Kenefick.
  • Wagner took its largest lead of the game, 70-46, after Krista Grava scored her 18th and 19th points from the free-throw line.
  • The senior forward, in total, scored six of Wagner's final ten points, despite CCSU outsourcing the team, 16-10, over the final 4:43 as the Seahawks closed out the homestand with their seventh win this season at the Spiro Sports Center and 12th overall.
