LIU outshot the Seahawks 3-0 in the second half and opened the scoring with 23 seconds remaining in the first half on a goal from Meilin Leotard. Saarah Olton and Sol Espona supplied the assists to give the Sharks the lead heading into the break.

Sammy Bell doubled the Sharks 5:30 remaining in the fourth quarter and they would hold on to claim a 2-0 victory over Wagner. For the Sharks, it is their second consecutive trip to the Northeast Conference (NEC) Championship.
