Picking The Ball
Senior

As a team, the Seahawks have at least one interception in their last three games, the longest streak since finishing the 2018 season with four straight games with an interception.
Special Teams Making An Impact
The Seahawks' special teams unit are making an impact. Against Merrimack, sophomore
Christian Davis blocked a punt, while senior
Eric DeMayo picked up a first down on a fake punt. Against LIU, a fake field goal by freshman
Austin Hosier set up Wagner's first touchdown of the game.
The Seahawks have recovered three fumbles on punts this season, while junior
Jayvin Little ranks second in the Northeast Conference (NEC) in combined kick return yards with 393.
Freshman
Joshua Brown is third in the circuit with 37.6 yards per punt.
Applying Pressure
As a team, Wagner combines for 6.7 tackles for loss per game, which is good for first in the NEC and 26
th in the country. In Wagner's homecoming loss to Delaware State, the Seahawks combined for 18 tackles for loss, which is still tied for the highest number in the country this year.
Leo Leads The Way
Senior captain
Titus Leo continues to be among the nation's best at his position. The reigning NEC Defensive Player of the Year is first in the NEC in tackles for loss with 1.9 stops behind the line of scrimmage per game, which is also good for fifth in the nation. Leo is currently also third in the conference in sacks (.7 per game) and fifth in the NEC in total tackles (6.3 per game).
Against Sacred Heart, Leo once again finished with three tackles for loss.
Explosive Plays
On the first play from scrimmage in Wagner's contest at Delaware State, wide receiver
Naiem Simmons took a quick pass from freshman quarterback
Guenson Alexis and turned it into a 74-yard touchdown reception.
Simmons' reception was the second touchdown catch of 70 or more yards on the season for Wagner, with freshman
Randy Fizer's 82-yard catch and run at Saint Francis U still tied for the fourth-longest reception in the country this season.
Wagner has had an offensive explosive play of 50 or more yards in three of its games this season.
