Annapolis, MD -
The Wagner College men's tennis team split two non-conference tilts on Saturday afternoon, falling to Navy, 4-0, before picking up a 4-1 triumph over Coppin State.

Senior Dylan Walters and Omar Loutfy earned a 6-2 triumph against Coppin State's pairing of Sergiu Medesan and Sam Scala-McNeil at first doubles before the Seahawk pairing of Tejasvi Mehra and Hans Ohrner got past Dean Waterman and Henrique Sada, 6-1, at second doubles to clinch the first point of the match.

Walters was victorious in straight sets over Waterman at first singles in picking up his 45th career victory and team-leading fifth singles win on the season.

Tejasvi Mehra bested Scala-McNeil, 7-6 (7-2), 6-2 at No. 3 play for his second win of the season. Fellow newcomer, Omar Loutfy, defeated Henrique Sada, 6-3; 6-1, at No. 4 singles.

The Seahawks will be back in action on March 14 as they will travel to Smithfield, RI to tangle with defending Northeast Conference (NEC) champions, Bryant.
