Middletown, CT - Sophomore midfielder
Erin Kerstetter poured in a career-tying four goals and collected a career-high eight draw controls to lead the Wagner women's lacrosse team to a convincing 17-5 victory over Quinnipiac on Friday.
The game was held on the Wesleyan University campus due to unplayable field conditions on the Bobcats' home turf. With the win, the Seahawks even their season record at 2-2 while the Bobcats of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) fall to 2-4.

Victoria Tucci also produced four points on the day with three goals and one assist, as did senior attack
Anna Belle Reilly (2g, 2a, team-high 6 caused turnovers). Sophomore midfielder
Madeline Seims was the third Seahawk to score three or more goals, finishing with hat trick to go with three draw controls.

In goal, redshirt senior
Kelsey Fee turned away nine shots for the Seahawks who held a 42-18 edge in shots and a 19-5 advantage in draw controls.
Megan Sawalowski paced QU with two goals on the afternoon while goalie Sami Walters was credited with 10 saves.
Wagner jumped out to a 4-0 lead midway through the first half on scores from Seims, Drum, Kerstetter, and Peluso en route to building an 8-4 halftime lead. In the second half, it was all Wagner as the Seahawks outscored Quinnipiac 9-1 following the break.
The Green & White are next in action when 2-2 Colgate of the Patriot League visits Wagner on Sunday, March 3. First draw between the Seahawks and the Red Raiders is set for 12:00 p.m.
