Harrison, NY - The Wagner men's tennis team dropped a pair of non-conference matches on Sunday afternoon, falling to Atlantic 10 member Fordham,3-2, and Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) member Marist, 5-0.
With the defeats, the Seahawks fall to 6-3 overall on the season while the Rams improve to 3-2 and the Red Foxes stand at 3-1.Â

The Green & White evened the match at 2-2, as newcomer
Dylan Walters (Johannesburg, South Africa / St Stithians Boys' College) improved to 2-1 in his young career, defeating Fabian Mauritzon; 6-4; 6-1. Fordham clinched the victory at No. 4 as Nick Borak withstood a spirited match with freshman
Siddharth Anand (New Delhi, India / Modern School Barakhamba Road).

Eric Poland's (Fort Meyers, FL/Bishop Verot) back-and-forth battle with Dylan Fletcher result in a tie-breaker set, as Fletcher was able to just get past Poland, 7-6 (7-3).Â
The Seahawks return to the courts on February 24 and February 26 as they travel to Philadelphia, PA for a pair of contests in the "City of Brotherly Love." First, they open with the Temple University Owls and conclude the trip at Drexel University.Â
