2016 ITA Northeast Regional Championship Bracket (Doubles)- Updated

Philadelphia, PA- Sophomore Anatoliy Lashkul (Kiev, Ukraine/High School #78) advanced to the next round in the 2016 ITA Northeast Regional Championship, which continues Saturday, October 22.

In his first singles match at the 2016 ITA Northeast Regional Championship, the Kiev, Ukraine native outlasted his opponent, Hofstra's Jan Leithner. After a competitive first set, in which Lashkul outdueled Leithner, 7-6 (2), Leithner was able to take the second set, 6-4, setting up a third and deciding set. 

In the final set, after both rallied point-after-point, it was Lashkul that was able to edge his counterpart, 6-4, as he now will take on Yale University's Tyler Lu, who had a bye entering the tournament.

In doubles action, Lashkul along with teammate Dale Sandy (Durban, South Africa/Kersney College Secondary School) were defeated by Andrei Crapcenco and Roberto Livi of St. John's, 8-3.
