Smithfield, RI - The 2014 Wagner Seahawks (6-4, 4-1 NEC) will close out the regular season at Bryant (8-2, 4-1) in a Noon matchup at Bulldogs Stadium today.

A victory would give the Green & White a final Northeast Conference (NEC) record of 5-1, which would tie Sacred Heart for the league's best mark. The Pioneers, however, clinched the 2014 NEC title last with their 14-7 win over Bryant to close the regular season with a 5-1 mark. Sacred Heart defeated Wagner 23-7 on November 1 thus owns the head-to-head tiebreaker ovet the Seahawks.

The Bulldogs, who were ranked No. 21 nationally in the FCS Coaches Poll heading into last week's tilt vs. Sacred Heart, are hopeful that a win over Wagner, which would give the Bulldogs a final overall mark of 9-2, would gain them an nat-large berth into the Division FCS Playoffs.
All-Time Series vs. BryantThis will be the sixth meeting between the schools and the Bulldogs hold a 3-2 lead in the series. Last season, Bryant snapped a two-game losing streak vs. the Seahawks, spoling Wagner's Homecoming Day with a 47-28 victory on Grymes Hill.

Jarrett Dieudonne (Fort Lauderdale, FL/Dillard) has made his mark both on the NEC and on the national scene this season. He delivered his third interception return for a touchdown this season last week vs. Duquesne and seventh pick overall. Dieudonne and Interceptions. Those seven INTs move him into a fourth-place tie with Hall of Fame member Mike Kelly on the Seahawk single-season list with Kelly's five pilfers coming in 1965. His seven INTs rank second in the national FCS rankings while his 0.7 interception per game place him in a tie for first nationally. The 6-1, 190-pound Dieudonne now has 14 career interceptions and moves into a tie for fifth all-time with at Wagner and tied for fith on the NEC all-time list. Dieudonne has also evolved into a true "shutdown" corner in 2014. Matched up against the NEC's leading receiver, Tyler Dube of Sacred Heart (72 receptions), the whole game back on Nov. 1, Dieudonne, limited him to one catch for five yards. Last week vs. Duquesne, Dieudonne was asked to mark the NEC's No. 3 receiver in Chris King (68 receptions) and held him to two catches for 10 yards.
