Wagner began the evening with doubles action, claiming one point by sweeping the three match-ups. Junior
Sawyer Fonda (Kelowna, British Columbia/ Okanagan Mission Secondary) and partner freshman
Jeremy Nuss (Weston, FL/ University School) combined for an easy 6-1 win out of the No. 3 slot while the freshman duo of
Allen Wang (Covis, CA/ Buchanan) and
Rick Delboi (Rosbach V.D.H., Germany/ Anna-Schmidt-Schule) were victorious at No. 1 by a count of 6-3.

Rick Delboi carried his momentum from his doubles match into singles play with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 2 while fellow freshman
Lee-Shawn Stein (Edmond, OK/ Epic Charter School) battled his way to a 6-4, 6-1 victory at No.3 ensuring the Green & White victory with the fourth point of the day. Sophomore
Sam Flaxman (Avon, CT/ Avon)
impressed once again with a 6-1, 6-3 win at No.4 singles.
Allen Wang dropped his first set 5-7 before rallying to win the next two by a count of 6-1, 6-0 at No.1 singles.Â
