Hempstead, NY - Hofstra defeated Wagner 7-0 in non-conference tennis action at the Hofstra University Outdoor Tennis Center. The Pride improve to 7-6-1 while the Seahawks fall to 0-12.

Nenad Radakovic defeated junior John LeBlanc (Staten Island, NY / Tottenville) 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 singles. At the No. 2 spot, Stian Tvedt handed freshman Marcelo Ensignia (Madrid, Spain / St. Andrew's Academy) a 6-1, 6-1 setback. Sophomore Yirmeyah Beckles (Cincinnati, OH / Aquinas College) fared no better at No. 3 singles, losing to Tytus Stempniewicz 6-0, 6-2. Matt Wacks bested junior Ben Serbiak (Washington Crossing, PA / Holy Ghost Prep) 6-2, 6-2 at No. 4 singles. Freshman Robert Santana (North Haledon, NJ / Manchester Regional) was blanked 6-0, 6-0 by Alex Hosner at the five-spot while classmate Max Gardner (Wilton, CT / Wilton) lost 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6 singles to Eric Gladstone.

Hofstra won all three doubles' matches.
