West Windsor, NJ - The No. 9 Wagner tennis team fell to No. 8 St. Francis (NY) by a 4-0 count in the opening round of the Northeast Conference (NEC) Men's Tennis Tournament at the Mercer County Tennis Center. The Seahawks conclude their season with a 0-15 record while the Terriers improve to 6-11.

St. Francis (NY) captured the doubles' point by winning at No. 1 and No. 2. Jindrich Chaloupka and Esteban Mesa defeated junior John LeBlanc (Staten Island, NY / Tottenville) and freshman Marcelo Ensignia (Madrid, Spain / St. Andrew's Academy) at No. 1 doubles by an 8-1 count. James Brennan Tsang and Danlahdi Robinson combined for an 8-1 win over junior Ben Serbiak (Washington Crossing, PA / Holy Ghost Prep)and sophomore Yirmeyah Beckles (Cincinnati, OH / Aquinas College).

At No. 1 singles, LeBlanc was blanked by Chaloupka 6-0, 6-0. At No. 3 singles, Robinson bested Beckles by the same 6-0, 6-0 count. Brennan Tsang stopped Serbiak 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4 singles, securing the 4-0 victory for the Terriers.
