Hershey, PA - The Wagner men's golf team finished in tenth place at the three-day Northeast Conference Championship that concluded today at the Hershey Links. They ended with a combined team total of 983.
Junior Christopher Fourman (Greenville, OH/Greenville) paced the Seahawks once again turning in a final card of 241 (77/83/81) good enough for a 41st-place finish.
Just three strokes behind him were two freshmen, Jeffrey Smolar (Jackson, NJ/Monsignor Donovan) and Thomas Abramoski (Poughkeepsie, NY/Our Lady of Lourdes). Smolar's combined three-day score was 244 (83/78/83) as was Abramoski's (79/85/80).
Rounding out Wagner's squad were also two rookies - Connor Popp (Syracuse, NY/Westhill) and Brian Conlan (Highland Milles, NY/John S. Burke Catholic). Popp finished with a 254 (87/85/82) while Conlan ended up with a 271 (96/86/89).
