Deal, NJ - The Wagner College men's golf team finished fourth in a quad match hosted by Monmouth University held at Deal Country Club, a par-71 6,400-yard course.
Freshman Tom Abramoski was the low man in the clubhouse at the round's end for the Seahawks after shooting a seven-over-par 78. Fellow freshman Jeffrey Smolar trailed him by only a stroke finishing well with an eight-over-par performance.
Yet another rookie, freshman Brian Conlan was next, firing off an 83 while freshman Connor Popp shot an 89. Sophomore Angelo D'Amico rounded out the Seahawks with a 101 on the day.
Monmouth University claimed the match on the strength of Anthony Camanile's 3-under 68, besting second-place Farleigh Dickinson University by seven strokes.
Lafayette College finished 13 strokes better than Wagner with the advantage 329 to 316 in favor of the Leopards.
