Princeton, NJ - Senior Emily Noelker (Southbury, CT/Pomperaug) was the low Seahawk following her final round 80 yesterday at the Princeton Women's Invitational held at the Springdale Golf Club. After shooting a first round 84 she finished in a tie for 30th place overall.
The Seahawks' finished in 14th place in the 15 team-event with a score of 723. The host, Princeton University, finished in first place overall with a two-day combined team score of 614.
Also competing for the Seahawk women were sophomore Allison Amador (Middle Island, NY/Longwood), who shot a final round 99 (combined with a first round 93), good enough for a 81st place tie, along with freshmen Dena Smith and Caitlin Etienne, who shot final rounds of 89 and 96, respectively.
Smith finished in 68th place while Etienne finished in 76th. They both carded a first-round 91.
