The Seahawks came back with a run in the bottom of the frame on a two out run scoring line drive to left by senior Matt Mastrianni (Ringoes, NJ / Hunterdon Central). Mastrianni's RBI single plated DiGeronimo who drew a walk with two away.

The Blue Devils would load the bases with no outs in the top of the seventh before Tretola worked out of the jam with a pop to short, a strikeout and a long fly to right.

In the top half of the ninth, CCSU tied the game at 3-3 on the strength of a leadoff walk and a two out dropped fly ball by the rightfielder setting up DiGeronimo's heroics in the bottom half.

Reliever Evan Scribner (4-5) took the loss for the Blue Devils.
