Noelker Finishes in 8th at NEC Championships; Earns All-NEC

Hershey, PA - Junior Emily Noelker (Southbury, CT/Pomperaug) shot a final round 85 the Hershey East Golf Course finishing in a tie for eighth place at the Northeast Conference Championships with Brigid Cahill from Monmouth University establishing an overall score of 255 over the three days. For her top ten performance in the tournament she was named to the NEC All-Conference team for the first time in her Wagner career.

Saint Francis (PA) golfer Samantha Milosh held onto the top spot from start to finish as she won the crown going away beating the second place finisher by nine strokes.

As for the team effort, Wagner ended the tournament in eighth place, besting the ninth place finisher Farleigh Dickinson - who rounded out the NEC in last - by 32 strokes.

Saint Francis (PA) won the NEC team championship - winning the tournament, like Milosh, soup to nuts - eclipsing the second place Blue Devils of Central Connecticut by 19 strokes in the end.

Wagner freshman Allison Amador (Middle Island, NY/Longwood) shot a final round 92 to finish in 35th place, freshman Jennifer Petrotta (Staten Island, NY/Susan E. Wagner) shot a 102 good enough for 39th, and junior Sara Mooney (Staten Island, NY/St. John Villa) shot a 123 good enough for 42nd in the final round.
