Freshman Vin Avella (Matawan, NJ / CBA) got the Green & White on the board singling through the right side on a perfectly executed hit and run that brought around DiGeronimo. Freshman Kevin McDonnell (Bristol, CT / Avon Old Farms) followed with a walk and senior Pat Rogers (Middletown, NJ / Brookdale CC) drove him home with a bloop double down the right-field line. The Seahawks then loaded up the bases on an error and a walk. DiGeronimo got one more home on a fielder's choice before sophomore Pete Delleani (Manalapan, NJ / CBA) concluded the scoring with a RBI single to make it 7-0 Wagner.

Melchiorre (1-2) never made it out of the inning and suffered the loss, giving up five earned runs in 3.2 innings of work.

The Knights would score a run in the fifth and another in the sixth on Vincente Medina's solo home run before the Green & White added three insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth on their way to the 10-2 win.

Eight of the nine Seahawk-starters recorded a hit as Sudol went 2-2 with a three-run home run and DiGeronimo was 2-4 with two runs and two stolen bases to lead the way.

Wagner and FDU will wrap up their four-game set with a doubleheader tomorrow starting at noon.
