West Windsor, NJ - No. 7 Wagner (3-15) concluded their season with a 4-0 loss to No. 6 Saint Francis (PA) at the Mercer County Tennis Center.
No. 1 junior Adam Amster (Concord, MA / Concord-Carlisle) was defeating Andrei Sandu 7-6 in the first set at the conclusion of the match. Freshman John LeBlanc (Staten Island, NY / Tottenville) led Kyle Primeau at second singles 7-6 and was serving for the set. At No. 3, Jeff Seevers was up on graduate student Robert Kiley (Greenlawn, NY / Hofstra) 6-1, 4-3. Freshman Ben Serbiak (Washington Crossing, PA / Holy Ghost Prep) was felled by Ajay Nune 6-1, 6-2 at No. 4 singles. At the five-spot, junior Will Shuler (Springfield, MA / Central Springfield) lost to Jordan Kowalski 6-0, 6-1. Rounding out singles play, freshman Sheldon Wilson was shut out by Tyler Jones 6-0, 6-0.
The Red Flash took the doubles point by winning the No. 1 and No. 3 matches. Amster and Serbiak lost 8-0 to Sandu and Seevers at first doubles while Shuler and Wilson lost 8-1 at the No. 3 spot to Nune and Jones.
No. 1 Fairleigh Dickinson won the NEC Men's team-title.
