Lawrenceville, NJ - Wagner (5-10) was handed a 7-0 loss by Rider earlier today in their regular-season finale. They will be the eighth seed for the upcoming NEC Tournament (4/20-4/21) and will face off against No. 9 Saint Francis (PA) on Friday at 9 am.

Sophomore Brittany Frazza (West Caldwell, NJ / Morris Catholic) lost at one singles by a 6-3, 6-0 score to Caitlin Crawbuck. At No. 2 singles, Devin Crawbuck shut out junior Aarti Mahtani (Montego Bay, Jamaica / Saint Andrews's) 6-0, 6-0. Junior Marie Crane (Cheshire, CT / Cheshire) also was shut out 6-0, 6-0 by Danielle Morse at third singles. At No. 4 singles, sophomore Emily Boyd (Stratham, NH / Exeter Area) lost by a 6-0, 6-0 count to Kristina Paich. Freshman Valerie LeCureux (Jamison, PA / Central Bucks East) was beaten by Kelly-Ann Chouinard 6-0, 6-0. Rider lost sixth singles by default.

Rider won all three doubles' matches to claim the doubles-point.
