Dover, DE - Wagner (3-12) was blanked at Delaware State 7-0 in non-conference action.

Despite the loss, the tandem of junior Will Shuler (Springfield, MA / Central Springfield) and freshman Ben Serbiak (Washington Crossing, PA / Holy Ghost Prep) defeated Adae Amoako and Florian Pejchar 8-5 at third doubles. Shuler also put up a solid effort in singles' play losing 6-4, 3-6, 12-10 to Pejchar at fifth singles.

Elsewhere in singles' action, junior Adam Amster (Concord, MA / Concord-Carlisle) dropped a 6-1, 6-1 decision to Alexey Chibisov at No. 1. At second singles, freshman John LeBlanc (Staten Island, NY / Tottenville) fell in straight-sets 6-2, 6-2 against Oleg Mironchikov. Serbiak was felled at No. 3 by Tyler Wyatt 6-0, 6-1. Freshman Byron Clohessy lost to Mike Siembid 6-2, 6-3 at fourth singles. Rounding out singles' action, classmate Sheldon Williams was defeated by Amoako in straight sets 6-1, 6-1.

Chibisov and Mironchikov won at first doubles over Amster and Clohessy 8-2 while Wyatt and Siembid defeated LeBlanc and Wilson by an identical 8-2 count to clinch the doubles' point for Delaware State.

Wagner wraps up regular season play with a match at Rider on Wednesday at 2:30 pm.
