Boston, MA -- Senior Brigitta Roser (Ithaca, NY/Lansing) wrapped up her swimming career for Wagner College by competing in the Speedo Swimming Championship Series at Harvard University this past weekend. The meet brought together some of the top swimmers and comes on the heels of the NCAA Championships.
Roser competed in the prelims for three events over the course of the meet. In her signature event, the 200 freestyle, she took 25th place overall at 1:54.60. Roser followed that with a 38th place mark in the 100 freestyle at 53.97, and closed with a 39th place time in the 500 freestyle at 5:07.87.
Roser closes out her Wagner career at the top time holder on the season in the 100 and 200 yard freestyle. She also set the new Wagner record for the 200 yard freestyle earlier this season and was named NEC swimmer of the week back in January.
