Women's Golf Competes At ECAC Championship

Williamsburg, VA - The Wagner College women's golf team finished fourteenth out of 15 teams at the ECAC Women's Championship held at Kiskiack Golf Club this past weekend.

Senior Emily Noelker (Southbury, CT/Pomperaug) finished in a tie for 32nd after the two rounds of play to pace the Seahawks with scores of 82 and 80 respectively.

Freshman Dena Smith was second on the Wagner roster with rounds of 86 and 88, good enough for a 55th place finish. Sophomore Allison Amador tied for 57th while freshman Caitlin Etienne rounded out the group with a 66th place finish.

Harvard University took the team title with a score of 600. Wagner ended up with 696.

Claire Sheldon of Harvard claimed the individual crown with a one-over-par performance.
