LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - The Wagner College Seahawks fell to 3-13 after getting swept 7-0 at Rider in their final non-conference match of the season.

Senior Megan Owen (Central Islip, NY / Central Islip) lost 10-7 to Tanya Cota at No. 1 singles. At No. 2, sophomore Aarti Mahtani (Montego Bay, JA / Saint Andrew's) fell in straight sets 6-0, 6-1 to Devin Crawbuck. Classmate Pooja Patel (East Greenwich, RI / East Greenwich) was blanked 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles against Caitlin Crawbuck. At No. 4 singles, sophomore Marie Crane (Cheshire, CT / Cheshire) also lost 6-0, 6-0 to Danielle Morse. At No. 5 singles, freshman Emily Boyd (Stratham, NH / Exeter Area) lost 6-2, 6-0 to Dana Previti. Rounding out singles play, senior Kim Pecinovsky (Plympton, MA / Silver Lake Regional) was blanked 6-0, 6-0 against Kelly Ann Chouinard.

In doubles play, Owen and Mahtani lost 8-1 at No. 1. At No. 2, Patel and Crane fell 8-5 and at No. 3 Boyd and Pecinovsky were blanked 8-0.

Wagner returns to action on Saturday, April 15 at 10 am when they face FDU.
