After a Gael score by Jillian Beck, George answered with two more unassisted goals as the Seahawks raced out to a 7-2 lead with 10 minutes to go in the half. After Jaclyn O'Leary tallied a score for Iona four minutes later, the Green and White continued to roll with six straight goals, including two from Gonzalez and George, to end the half with a comfortable 13-3 stronghold.

The run continued in the second period as senior Darby Biggart (Crownsville, MD / Archbishop Spalding) scored 30 second in for the first of five straight in the half. The 11 unanswered scores put Wagner up 18-3. Iona then finished the game off with a 5-1 stretch to account for the scoring.
