JERSEY CITY, NJ - The Wagner Seahawks lost 7-0 to Saint Peter's earlier today. With the loss the Green & White are now 0-3 while the Peahens improve to 1-2.

At No. 1 singles, sophomore Brittany Frazza (West Caldwell, NJ / Morris Catholic) fell 6-2, 6-3 to Vanessa Pangikas. Junior Aarti Mahtani (Montego Bay, Jamaica / Saint Andrews's) dropped her match at second singles 6-1, 6-0 to Angela Wiggs. At No. 3, classmate Pooja Patel (East Greenwich, RI / East Greenwich) was blanked 6-0, 6-0 by Kristy Bonner. Fellow junior Marie Crane (Cheshire, CT / Cheshire) lost in straight sets 6-2, 6-2 to Meredith Earley. At No. 5, freshman Sara Pancurak (Toms River, NJ / Peddie School) dropped a heartbreaker 2-6, 6-0, 6-0 to Jing Cheung. The Seahawks forfeited at six singles.

In doubles action, Frazza and Crane were toppled by Pangikas and Wiggs 8-3 at No. 1. At second doubles, Mahtani and Patel also fell 8-3 to Bonner and Earley as the Peahens took the doubles' point.

The Seahawks conclude their fall season when they head to Lawrenceville, NJ on Thursday, Oct. 26 to finish their earlier match at Rider, which was suspended due to inclement weather.
