Murat Ersoz enters his first year at Wagner College as the Men’s and Women’s Water Polo Assistant Coach.
Murat comes to Wagner by way from Whittier College, where he was a 4-year member of the Poets’ men’s water polo team as starting Goalie. Murat helped Whittier win their first National Championship along with a SCIAC championship in his senior year.
Prior to his college career, Murat played in the club team called ENKA which is in Istanbul, Turkey. Murat helped ENKA win multiple championships and has represented the Turkish National Team throughout his time in Istanbul.
He will be assisting Wolohan in further building the Wagner men's and women's water polo program. Murat will specifically focus on training both men’s and women’s goalkeepers by teaching all he has learned from his past experiences.
Along with his coaching responsibilities at Wagner, Murat will pursue a Master of Business Administration.
