Wagner College Athletics

Michael Balseca serves as a Graduate Assistant for Facilities and Operations along with being the Fitness Center Coordinator on Grymes Hill. Duties including oversight and management of the fitness center and fueling station for student athletes. Serving as main facility contact to members and staff for all questions, comments, and concerns.

Assisting the Director of Athletic Facilities Operations, and project management with NCAA Division I teams throughout the year for home game day preparation and operations including special events.

Balseca most previously served as athletic administrative assistant at Trinity Preparatory School in Winter Park, FL where he oversaw administration for all athletic teams, projects, and functions.

He also worked for the MLS Orlando City Soccer Club as a fan ambassador. Working all Orlando City and Orlando Pride Home games including events hosted at Inter & CO Stadium including COPA America 2024 and Women's MexTour 2024. 

The Port Charlotte, FL native received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL. Balseca ran Cross-Country and Track for the Moccasins and was awarded team captain from 2020-2022. He also received the academic athlete award for team conference and qualified for the NCAA Division II Cross Country National Championship at Schenley Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
