Henry Martinez serves as an assistant coach with the Wagner baseball staff after beginning as a graduate assistant coach for the 2025 season.

A former player with Wagner before joining the program's staff, Martinez was a career .233 hitter across his five seasons on Grymes Hill, which concluded with the 2024 season. He started 66 of 157 games played for the Seahawks and racked up 68 hits during his career. In 2024, Martinez saw action in a career-high 44 games, hitting to the tune of a .284 batting average. Martinez saw career-highs in slugging percentage (.389), and on-base percentage (.360) in 2024.

Martinez attended Chino Hills High School in Chino Hills, CA where he was a three-year varsity baseball member and two-year varsity football member.

The star outfielder graduated from Wagner in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Concentration in Marketing, then graduated with a Master's of Business Administration in May 2025. In the fall of 2022, Martinez interned with the Staten Island FerryHawks to assist with marketing directives.
