Clare Alaimo was named the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance in June of 2024 as she embarks on her fourth year on Grymes Hill.
Previously, she held the positions of Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance and Compliance Graduate Assistant while at Wagner. Alaimo also serves as Wagner's NCAA Tracer Contact and previously served as the interim SWA from June-October 2024. She also served as the Field Hockey Northeast Conference Championship Tournament Director in 2024.
Currently, Alaimo serves as a member of the National Athletic Association for Athletic Compliance (NAAC).
Alaimo is responsible for all day-to-day activities of the compliance office, including providing interpretations and education to boosters, fans, coaches, staff, and university personnel, writing all necessary NCAA waivers, and monitoring all areas to maintain a comprehensive compliance program that adheres to all NCAA and Northeast Conference rules. She has also served as the lead of Wagner's transition to Teamworks C+R.
Alaimo graduated from Wagner College with her MBA in Management in June of 2024. Previously, she graduated from Dominican College after majoring in education with a concentration in childhood math. The West Nyack, NY native also studied at LIU's Post campus for two years before attending Dominican.
While at those two schools, Alaimo served as an athletic intern. She worked games and events, used stat crew software, used photo shop, and uploaded rosters and schedules. Alaimo was captain of the Dominican College women's golf team from 2020-22 and was Student-Athlete Advisory Committee President in 2021-22.
