Brian Doxsey joined the Wagner College Sports Performance Department in September 2025.
Before arriving on Grymes Hill, Doxsey served as a Professional Intern with the Ohio State University Football Strength and Conditioning staff. In this role, he assisted in the administration of speed, strength, and conditioning for the Buckeyes, supported athlete monitoring with sport science tools such as Zebra GPS and force plates, and designed return-to-play and offseason workouts.
Doxsey also gained experience as a Strength and Conditioning Intern at the United States Military Academy at West Point. While with the Black Knights, he programmed and coached a wide range of Olympic sports and run-and-cover teams while utilizing advanced technologies including Perch VBT, Vald ForceDecks, and Polar GPS.
In addition, Doxsey worked as a Performance and Strength Coach at Kings of Fitness in Poughkeepsie, NY, from 2022 to 2025, where he developed training programs for athletes from youth through collegiate levels and managed the implementation of sport science technology. In 2023, he also worked with the New York Rangers as a Performance Coach and Testing Administrator, conducting baseline assessments and on-ice testing for both rookies and veterans.
A native of Pleasant Valley, New York, Doxsey earned an Associate’s Degree in Physical Education from Hudson Valley Community College in 2016 before completing his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Marist College in 2019. A former varsity football player for the Red Foxes, he is certified through the CSCCA (SCCC), NSCA (CSCS), and as a Certified Physical Preparation Specialist (CPPS). He also holds certifications in Proteus Motion, First Aid/CPR, and ACE Cupping & Massage.
