Alexis Curtis

Alexis Curtis joined Wagner as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in July 2024. In her role, she develops rehabilitation and return-to-play programs, conducts injury evaluations, and provides essential communication to coaches, administrators, and strength staff. She also emphasizes athlete well-being by incorporating mental health screenings and fostering a safe, supportive environment for student-athletes.

Before joining Wagner, Curtis gained extensive clinical experience through her Master of Science in Athletic Training program at Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania. Her training included immersive internships at Bucknell University with spring football and track, as well as observation hours at Princeton University with men’s track and women’s tennis. She also completed hands-on clinical rotations across multiple sports and rehabilitation settings during her undergraduate and graduate studies.

A licensed athletic trainer in both New Jersey and New York, Curtis holds certifications in CPR, Mental Health First Aid, and Functional Movement Screening. In addition to her Master of Science in Athletic Training, Curtis also earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, with a concentration in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology, from Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania.
