Wagner head swimming and diving coach Colin Shannahan announced the addition of Edda Skoric to the Seahawks' coaching staff in July 2021.
Skoric made NCAA appearances in the 200 Free, 100 Back, and 200 Back. From the NSIC Championships, Skoric broke the school record in the 100 Back with a time of 55.82 and the 200 Back with a time of 1:57.39. She was the champion of the NSIC with her first-place finish in the 200 back, giving her All-Conference honors, and also received All-American honors coming in 3rd in the same event at the NCAA Championship. Skoric’s 1:57.39 from the NSIC Championships gave her the only ‘A’ cut of the NCAA Championships.
Edda also broke both the University of Indiannapolis and GLVC records in the 100 and 200 back, with a time of 1:55.80 which was the fastest time in NCAA D2 for the year 2019-20.
Skoric is a graduate of the University of Indianapolis where she was a College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) All-American in the 200 free relay. Additionally, she is a four-time All-American honorable mention across four different events. The all-around student-athlete also earned a place on the CSCAA Scholar All-American team.Â
In addition to her coaching and recruiting duties, Skoric will be pursuing a Master's Degree.
