Marcie Klebanow

Marcie Klebanow enters her second season as an assistant coach of the women’s soccer team at Wagner College.

A 2009 graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington, IN, Klebanow assisted the Indiana University women’s soccer program, worked as the assistant varsity coach at Bloomington South High School and was a head coach for the Cutters youth program in Bloomington. Klebanow also served on the Olympic Development Program’s Regional Staff for Region II during 2007 and 2008 and in Region I in 2010.  Klebanow also served as a trainer and host of the Under-14 Russian National Team.

She currently holds her NSCAA Premier, Advanced National and National Diploma, NSCAA State, Regional and National Goalkeeper Diploma’s, as well as her National USSF “D” License. She also serves as the current Secretary for the NSCAA Women’s Committee. 

“We are very happy to have Marcie join the coaching staff, here at Wagner. She has a wealth of coaching experience and her contacts at the youth and high school level will be an asset in our recruiting efforts, head coach Mike Minielli said. “I think her biggest contribution will be her energy and enthusiasm for teaching and coaching soccer, and our players will be able to feed off of that in an effort to improve their game and the program. We are excited to have her join the Seahawks.”
