Laura Karbach enters her second season on the Water Polo coaching staff as a Volunteer Assistant.
2014 saw Karbach help tutor the goalies on their road to a MAAC championship.
Karbach was a standout member of Wagner's Water Polo team in the net from 2009 through 2013. The three-time All-MAAC and three-time Academic All-MAAC goalie led the team to a school record 26 wins in 2013, starting all 37 games at goalie for the second straight season. Karbach was named MAAC Defensive Player of the Week five times for her efforts between the pipes in her senior season, the most of any player in the league. In 2012, Karbach was named Co-Defensive Player of the Year in the MAAC.
Along with her coaching duties, the Abington, PA native will be pursuing her Master’s in Education.
